The Health & Wellness committee and community service programing informs the members of issues that affect the well-being of individuals, families, and communities and supports individuals and groups or partners with local organizations:
Potential club activities might include:
Make hats, blankets and quilts for seniors, kids in hospitals and cancer wards
Collect and assemble baskets for new mothers
Participate in local walk a thon (for many causes)
Host a first aid training or CPR certification
Speakers on health issues or recognizing signs of disease and early detection
Collect toiletries and give to Rescue Mission or homeless shelters
Assemble holiday food baskets or participate in food drive
Adopt a senior or collect items to support the elderly
